You can set an alarm on your WiiM Wake-up Light in three ways:
The WiiM Light app allows you to fully customize your alarm — including sound source, duration, volume, repeat schedule, sunrise effect, and more.
Using the WiiM Light App
Follow these steps to set up an alarm in the WiiM Light app:
- Open the WiiM Light app.
- Go to the Alarm tab.
- Tap the
icon in the top-right corner to add an alarm.
- Specify the following alarm settings:
- Alarm time
- Whether to repeat the alarm on specific days of the week
- Alarm sound
- Alarm duration
- Volume level
- The duration of gradually increasing alarm volume
- Sunrise feature. When enabled, specify the sunrise duration and maximum brightness to simulate a natural sunrise.
Note: If the sunrise feature is configured, the sunrise light will gradually brighten before the alarm goes off. - Tap Save in the top-right corner to finish.
Using Alexa Voice Commands
Before using Alexa voice commands for the first time, you need to log into your Alexa account from the WiiM Light app:
- Open the WiiM Light app.
- Go to the Browse tab.
- Select Amazon Alexa in the Music Service section.
- Tap GET STARTED and then follow instructions to log into your Alexa account.
After a successful login, you are ready to use Alexa voice commands. You can set up an alarm by just saying:
- "Alexa, set an alarm at 6 am."
- "Alexa, set the alarm for 7 am tomorrow"
- "Alexa, set 7 am alarm for every weekday."
- "Alexa, set an alarm for everyday at 4 pm."
- "Alexa, set a repeating alarm for weekdays at 4 pm."
- "Alexa, set a repeating alarm for Monday at 4 pm."
- "Alexa, wake me up to Katy Perry at 10 pm."
- "Alexa, wake me up to pop music at 7 am."
- "Alexa, set music alarm to "Lovely day" for 7 am."
Using the Alexa App
You can also set up an alarm in the Alexa app by following the below steps:

Note: Make sure to log in to the same Alexa account in both the Alexa app and the WiiM Light app. - Tap the
icon at the bottom of the Alexa app, and then select Alarms & Timers.
- Tap the
icon to add an alarm.
- Select your WiiM Wake-Up Light device and adjust alarm settings.
- Tap Save in the top-right corner to finish.
