You can set the alarm on the WiiM Wake-up Light in various ways: with your voice, the WiiM Light app, or the Alexa app. You can also customize the alarm by giving it a unique name and setting the alarm source, duration, volume, and occurrence in the app.
Using the WiiM Light app
Go to the Light tab > Tap the "Alarm icon" on the top right corner > Tap the "+" button to add an alarm.
When adding an alarm, you can rename the alarm name, alarm volume, duration, and occurrence based on your use case. You can also use soothing sounds, internet radio, or your favorite albums or playlist from your subscribed music services as your alarm source for a more pleasant experience.
You can also set the music alarm when you listen to the streaming music from the "Now Playing" UI. For example, you can play music from Spotify App, then go to the "Now Playing" UI, and tap the alarm button to choose the playlist as your alarm source.
Using your voice via Alexa
It's easy to set an alarm with Alexa on WiiM wake-up light. You can set up an alarm by just saying:
- "Alexa, set the alarm for 7 am tomorrow"
- "Alexa, set 7 am alarm for every weekday."
- "Alexa, wake me up to pop music at 7 am."
Using the Alexa App
You can also do it in the Alexa app by following the below steps:
Open the Alexa app
- Tap the hamburger icon in the upper left corner
- Tap “Reminders & Alarms”
- Tap the “Alarms” tab to add, update or delete an alarm
