With the bedtime routine feature in the app, you can easily automate the light mode, sounds, and the time you want them to start. You can set the sunset light, sleep sound, and night light at a specific time or activate the bedtime routine button to start the routine.
When it comes to preparing for bedtime, there are two stages to consider: falling asleep and sleeping. To personalize the experience, you have the ability to customize each stage by selecting various soothing sounds and durations, as well as controlling the night light and clock display.
Using the WiiM Light app to customize your bedtime routine
Go to the Routine tab > Tap the "Bedtime" tab on the upper left.
You can customize your bedtime routine by adjusting the starting brightness, duration, and wind-down sound of the sunset simulation. This will make it feel more personalized and help you ease into sleep.
Start a bedside routine
To initiate a bedside routine, simply tap on the bedtime button at any time. Once activated, the routine icon will appear on the clock display. If you'd like to transition to the sleep stage, you can just tap the routine button again. To end the routine, just keep tapping on the bedside button until the routine icon disappears.
You can also start a bedside routine by just saying:
- "Alexa, turn on the bedtime routine"
Stop a bedside routine by saying:
- "Alexa, turn off the bedtime routine"
